Almost DNF, but I powered through because I remained hopeful that somehow, KA will put in a turn for the better. For me it, it didn't come. That turn for the better. Thus far, this has to be my least favorite KA book (though I've not read her Fantasy books). Reading it felt like pulling teeth, and I figure its mostly because of my lack of conviction towards the H and h. Somehow, Mike and Dusty's relationship failed to ring true to me and everything was pretty much downhill from then on. Dusty never failed to latch on to me while Mike's likability, I suspect, was more because of his role in At Peace. How they got together and their history (I think KA did this best with Feb and Colt's book) felt a wee bit forced. I did like Fin and Rees. I wish to read more on what happened to them between the last chapter and the epilogue.
