Loved this book. LOVED IT. Loved the hero Tack mostly (loved him even back in Gwen/Hawk's book). Did I mention I loved it?The themes of redemption and living life to the fullest were beautifully fleshed out. I found Tyra's backstory a bit wanting but I realized its because Tack was just so OUT THERE, so in a way, it agrees with the dullness of her life pre-Tack. KA has a formula for her books and I'm nearly done with her serials (I'm starting the 'Burg next) but she manages to make the emotions fresh each and every time that it doesn't grow stale at all. Works every time (with varying degrees of efficacy but still works).
